Earned Degree

The educational processes and the degrees earned by the graduates of the Faculty of Medicine are regulated within the framework of Turkey's higher education legislation. These regulations are based on the Higher Education Law dated November 4, 1981, numbered 2547. This law determines the establishment, operation, and educational programs of higher education institutions in Turkey. The educational structure of the Karabük University Faculty of Medicine is also shaped in accordance with this law and the relevant regulations.

The faculty's educational program consists of three main levels: Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, and Family Medicine. These levels encompass an educational process that starts with basic sciences and extends to clinical applications and family medicine internships. This structure is detailed in the Karabük University Faculty of Medicine Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation.

Graduates receive the title of "Medical Doctor" while simultaneously earning a master's degree as their academic qualification.
